The two stages of gum disease


When you are keen observer to your health you can easily detect early symptoms to gum disease and its symptoms that can prevent the condition from getting worse. If you notice that there are some red, tender, puffy and swollen gum’s this kind of symptoms should be treated immediately. However bacterial infection kicks off the condition, it is pain less at its early stage and may even be unrecognizable until pain and discomfort occurs. So if you just know that there are two stages of gum disease, gingivitis as its early and mildest stage and periodontitis as the advance stage where the infection and bacteria already spreads beyond the gums affecting the tissues and bones that supports the teeth.
