Suck on a piece of ginger which is very good at controlling vomiting, though you might still experience mild nausea.
Carry a throw-up bag (a couple of them in fact) for the just-in-case situations where you cannot stop the vehicle.
Carry and drink plenty of cold water laced with a little lemon.
Suck a few peppermints or chew peppermint gum.
