FSEOG grants for college can be as high as $4,000 per school year. FSEOG Grants for college is “need based” and students must fit the criteria to recieve grant monies to be used for college tuition. The college you will be attending does not have to precisely follow the FSEOG guidelines exactly and they can award more then what the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant Program allows. You will not know how much Fseog monies you will be getting until you fill out the FAFSA. This is the FSEOG application which is used to determine your FSEOG eligibilty. Student can start fillig out the FAFSA January 1st. Do not delay because the FSEOG grants are awarded on a first come first serve basis.
